SheetForge Web
SheetForge Web is a free browser tool for editing spreadsheet-defined game data. Open a local TSV or CSV file, or connect your own Google Sheets, edit the data in a familiar grid, validate it with the same SheetForge engine that runs inside Unity, and push your changes back to the sheet.
What it does
- Edits sheet data in a spreadsheet-style grid, with the columns, types and markers your sheets already declare.
- Validates every change with the SheetForge core — the same engine the Unity asset uses — so problems are reported before anything is written back.
- Imports from a local file, pasted text, or Google Sheets, and pushes reviewed changes back to the source sheet.
- Shows records as a canvas of linked cards, so references between sheets are visible while you edit.
- Loads optional plugins that add custom cell types, validators and templates.
How it uses your Google account
Signing in with Google is optional — the app works entirely with local files without an account. If you do sign in, it asks only for your basic profile and access to the spreadsheets you explicitly open. Your sheet data is processed in your browser; we run no user database and keep no server-side copy of it. SheetForge Web’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Who makes it
SheetForge Web is the free browser companion to the SheetForge Unity asset for sheet-driven game data. Both are made by the same independent developer. SheetForge Web is free to use and needs no purchase.
